Adobe Creative Jam Winner | June 2020 | Team members: Toshi Panwalkar, Krutika Kulkarni, Pooja Katti

Concept: The root of design is changing, from targeting the majority to targeting all.” Accessible design is not just designed for people who are differently-abled but for everyone. It’s an approach that only encourages compliance but has much wider potential for improving accessibility and usability, beyond the minimum requirements enforced by law.

Brief: To create an informative video which reaches a wide audience with maximum impact regarding the topic, “Designing for accessibility isn't about just following regulations, it is imperative to cater to all the users and how it makes huge business sense."

Ideation: The idea was to give a gist of problems faced by differently-abled people in their day to day life and how while designing we ignore the small problems which create a big impact later. Many times, a design which is catered towards differently-abled people also simplifies everyone’s life.

Major criterias covered for making video on accessiblity -
// Accessibility in architecture.
// Temporary disability due to minor accidents.
// Considering colour blindness and other visual disabilities.
// Covering other physical disabilities.
